At Vision Christian Pre School And Kindergarten, We Believe Keeping Parents Informed Of Their Children's Progress Is Just As Important As Teaching Their Children.

We publish a school newsletter September - May. It lets the parents know of upcoming events and what was accomplished in the classroom each month.

Our monthly parent newsletter is designed to inform parents of activities and special events for each age level. The letter also provides information on upcoming dates for events.

  2's Nursery School

During our new theme this month, “I Can Take Care Of Pets!”, your little ones will become familiar with various pets and their needs. We will talk about what it means to be responsible, and how to be safe around pets. Students will get to make paper plate pets as part of our discussion on how we know God loves us...by giving us these beautiful animals to love and take care of.
Our class will be introduced to the number seven, the color pink, and the heart shape. This will fit in perfectly as we celebrate Valentine’s Day with an in-class party on Monday, February 13th. We will have a special craft, make treat bags, and “mail” Valentine’s to all our classmates. I can’t wait for all the fun this month has in store!
God Bless,

The Nursery

Hi from the Nursery! We are so excited! We have 2 new babies in our care!!! A warm welcome to Brayden M. and Alex S. Both of them are little guys and both are handsome and cute! Welcome to Vision!

Just as a reminder please do not bring toys from home and also please label cups, lunch boxes, pacifiers, and bottles. Thanks!

This month the Ones will be learning about the shape of a heart and the color red and pink. We will be making some special valentines for our Mommies and Daddies, and also maybe some heart people. We will also make some ground hog artwork. Also, we will be learning about giving nice hugs and kisses on the cheek. It is definitely going to be the month of love and hopefully not snow.

Wishing everyone a good and warm month and a very Happy Valentine’s Day!

Joy, for the Nursery Crew

Art with Ms. Thea

This month in Art, we will be completing a couple of exciting activities. It has been requested of Vision to make birthday cards for a lady named Mrs. Mooney. She will be turning 93 later this month and her family is trying to compile 93 birthday cards for her to open during her party! We will be participating in this effort and I can’t wait to see the results.

Students will also be celebrating Valentine’s Day this month with a project entitled “What we love about Vision!” Keep an eye out for several art projects that will be posted on our front entry way bulletin board! Art in Action….How exciting!
God Bless.

Three's Preschool

Ms. Thea Nackrelli

Little ones often love pets, but they don’t always know appropriate ways to relate to them. During this month’s theme, “I Can Take Care of Pets!”, we will help your child learn that pets need food, water, a place to live, exercise, and attention! Your little ones will also learn about a variety of different pets and talk about ways to be safe around them. We will also tie in ways we know God loves us by giving us these beautiful animals to love and care for!
Nancy the Nurse, Ollie the Otter, Petey the Porcupine, and Rodney the Raccoon, will join our classroom this month as we learn all about the letters: N, O, P, and R. We will learn the sounds these letters make and play a phonics game. Students will also be introduced to new vocabulary words/pictures that begin with these letters as well as practicing their writing skills by tracing them.
Our character education this month will be to learn about responsibility. The pet doctor (Vet), will join us also as our featured community worker. Students will also get to learn about the opposites of full and empty, the number 9, and the shape will be a heart. This will fit in perfect as we celebrate Valentine’s Day with a class party on Tues., Feb. 14th. We will have a special craft, make treat bags, and “mail” Valentine’s to all our classmates. It should be lots of fun! God Bless!

February is an exciting month. We will be having our Valentine’s Day party on Monday, February 13 with the kindergarten class! It is always so much fun!

We will be starting to practice our Graduation songs. We will also continue to learn our addresses, phone numbers, and middle names. Now that we have many letters under our belts, we will be learning to write our last names! That is exciting!

Along with these new skills, we will continue to learn our letters. In February, we will learn the letters C, H, I, J, and L. We will continue to learn about the numbers 1—15, and review some old shapes and colors.

From the Bible, we will learn about Baby John, The Disciples followed Jesus, The Little Boy Shared His Lunch, Jesus Healed Jairus’ Daughter, and Jesus Calmed a Storm.
